Membership FAQs
Membership is open to all women eighteen years or older. Members need not live in Jefferson County, Kentucky, but their Membership Fee will go towards supporting Jefferson County. Please know that there are many Impact100 chapters, and we encourage you to look towards your local Impact100 chapter first for membership.
The Membership Fee is $1,100 and is due on or before May 31. $1,000 funds our annual grants. The remaining $100 helps defray the cost of our events and operations. All contributions are tax-deductible.
No, we do not offer split memberships.
No, any donation above $1,100.00 will go towards the operating budget.
Yes! We encourage and welcome anyone to sponsor a woman over eighteen to become a voting Member.
Membership Fees can be paid by credit card on our website (www.impact100louisville.org). Please make sure to pay the additional credit card transaction fees when prompted. Checks can be mailed to Impact100 Louisville at 3044 Bardstown Road, #269, Louisville, KY 40205. Please make checks payable to Impact100 Louisville.
Impact100 Louisville is a 501(c)(3) organization and therefore your contributions may be eligible as a tax deduction. Please check your individual eligibility.
We do not offer employer matching for the Membership Fee. We do accept and appreciate employer matching funds or donations for Impact100 Louisville’s operating fund.
As a Member, your only commitment is to vote on the selection of our grant recipient(s). We, however, welcome and encourage our Members to become actively involved. Members are eligible to serve on our committees (Membership, Grants, Sponsorship, Communications, Events, Finance, Governance, Nominating, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion). Members are also encouraged to volunteer as subcommittee chairs. Impact100 Louisville is run purely by volunteers, so your active participation is much appreciated.
Yes, we love our Members to be active in the local nonprofit community. We require all Members to comply with our Conflict-of-Interest Policy. Impact100 Louisville requires our members to disclose any potential conflicts of interest with our grant applicants which could mean not serving on a specific grants committee and/or to recuse themselves from discussions where a conflict arises.
Yes, we now offer that! Choose the amount and timing that work best for you. As long as your full membership contribution is received by 5/31 for that giving year, you’re in! Contact info@impact100louisville.org to design a plan that fits your needs. Membership dues and/or partial membership dues donations are nonrefundable.
Impact100 Louisville is committed to fostering belonging, diversity, equity, and inclusion across our community. In support of this commitment, we offer a limited number of fully funded fellowships for women who are passionate about philanthropy, dedicated to strengthening local nonprofits, and eager to join a group of women who also want to make a big impact in the community.
If you are interested in being considered for a one-year fellowship, please fill out the online form. Form must be completed and submitted by May 15.
